Nicole grew up on the shoreline of Connecticut, and has always loved the historic homes that New England brings with it. Her love of vintage and thrifting has helped create her signature aesthetic combining old and new.

Her love of design started as a young girl, one who would rearrange her bedroom furniture and decor nearly every week (and that’s not an exaggeration). As she got older, she went on to earn her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and has worked as a Registered Nurse since 2018. Over the years, she has continued to dabble with her love for design by helping family and friends in their homes.

In April of 2022, Nicole and her husband Devon welcomed their first child. During her maternity leave, Nicole began working with her mother-in-law, Lorna, who owns a design firm based in CT. Nicole was blessed to work alongside Lorna as co-designer, project manager, and social media manager. She learned the inner workings of how to run a successful design firm and co-designed many projects including bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, and decor/styling. In July of 2023, with Lorna’s blessing, Nicole realized her dream of opening her own interior design firm.

Today, Nicole is living out her dream as Interior Designer and Owner of Nicole Patton Design LLC. She is honored to have clients who trust her talents and allow her into their homes, where together they can create beautiful and functional spaces in both, Connecticut and New York. In June of 2025, Nicole gave birth to a second beautiful baby.Just three short months later, she went on to film and compete in an episode of “That Thrifting Show” with Lara Spencer, which will premiere on Freeform and Hulu on Thursday, March 19th, 2026 at 9pm, alongside Lorna. Together, they had the experience of a lifetime!
